Martina reed
Founder, Studio Director, Lead Instructor, Choreographer, Coach, Photographer/Videographer
Martina Reed discovered her love for dance in her hometown of Battle Creek, Michigan as a recreational and competitive dancer. After transferring from Oakland University (Dance) in 2019, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Western Michigan University in May of 2021. During this time, she performed in works by choreographers Mike Esperanza, Monique Haley, Jeremy Blair, Stephanie Pizzo, Liz Riga, Molly McMullen, Claire Little, Kaitlyn Pollock, and more. She also performed with dance companies Oakland Dance Theatre, Orchesis Dance Society, and Hip Hop ConnXion Michigan. While attending school and after graduating, Martina was a lead instructor at Center Stage Dance Studio, coached the Harper Creek High School Pom Team, and choreographed/taught for multiple studios around southwest Michigan. Martina relocated to Chicago, Illinois in 2022 to further her professional career. She danced professionally with Movementum Dance Project from 2022-2024. She was a lead instructor for the youth and adult programs at Dance On Broadway, and worked as their studio administrator for their 2023-2024 season. Martina is currently an emcee for CRU Dance Competition, is co-coaching the Harper Creek Pom Team again, and is loving running her own business, DANCESCAPE. She is so excited for the next chapter of her dance journey!

evie labus
Instructor, Choreographer, Coach
Evie was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, where her passion for dance first took root. She trained and competed with Wings Dance Studio and spent four years as a member of the Varsity Poms team at Lockport Township High School. Evie holds a Grade 5 Cecchetti student certification and has performed in numerous competitions, including Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), showcasing her versatility and commitment to excellence in dance. Evie’s performance credits include featured roles with the Joffrey Ballet, and Moscow Ballet. As a dance educator and award-winning choreographer, Evie has taught and choreographed across Illinois and Missouri, specializing in ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, acrobatics, and improv. Her choreography has been recognized with multiple awards for its emotional impact and dynamic execution. In addition to teaching and choreographing, Evie coaches the Lakeview Varsity Dance Team. She prioritizes mental well being - fostering a supportive and encouraging environment while maintaining high standards and dancer discipline. She strives to help dancers grow both artistically and personally.

AVERY FRADETTE
Instructor, Choreographer
Avery Fradette is a sophomore studying dance at Western Michigan University, where she has performed in a variety of works featured in the Annual Winter Gala, the Student Dance Concert, Art Hop, and the BFA Graduating Performance Showcase. Before beginning her collegiate training, Avery studied at Haja Dance Company in Monroe, Michigan, for seven years. There, she trained extensively in jazz, lyrical, and contemporary dance, building a strong technical foundation while also discovering her love for teaching. With five years of teaching experience, Avery strives to empower dancers to reach their fullest potential, both in the classroom and beyond.

adrienne dysinger
Instructor, Choreographer, Front Desk Administrator
Adrienne grew up in Marshall, MI where she danced with 360 Dance Company. There, she learned ballet, contemporary, jazz, and tap. She also trained with Ballet Kalamazoo in ballet and contemporary and took part in the Royal Intensive Training in Detroit. Outside of the dance studio, Adrienne has participated in over 30 productions with various Theater companies in Marshall. Most recently, she has served as choreographer for Marshall Civic Players Theater Company. She is currently attending Spring Arbor University studying Business Administration.

Miranda was born and raised in Battle Creek, MI. She married her high school sweetheart and has three kids. She has been a dance mom since her oldest was three years old. With a bright smile and a passion for helping others thrive, Miranda is the friendly face that welcomes every dancer who walks through our doors. Her favorite part of dance is watching the dancers grow in their confidence and form lasting friendships. Whether you're a brand new or a seasoned student, Miranda is here to make sure your experience at the studio is inspiring, organized, and full of encouragement.

Makenna Groeneveld
Instructor
Makenna Groeneveld was raised in Marshall, Michigan, where her passion for dance developed into a creative outlet. She started dancing when she was two and a half years old and continued teaching even after she graduated high school. She has extensive training and teaching experience across multiple styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, clogging, pointe, and preschool creative movement. She has also been a part of countless musical theater productions through various companies around Marshall and in Nutcracker performances. Makenna has spent years cultivating her skills not only as a performer but as an educator dedicated to shaping young dancers.
She began her teaching career with 360 Dance Company, where she instructed and mentored students for several years before continuing her work at the Academy of the Arts in Spring Arbor, where she teaches preschool ballet and creative movement. Throughout her experience, Makenna has choreographed, taught, and staged many original routines for annual recitals, working with dancers of all ages.
Beyond the studio, Makenna is a graduate from Spring Arbor University with a Bachelor of Science in Digital Communications and Marketing and an Associate of Science in General Studies, combining her passion for creativity with strategic communication skills. She strives to create meaningful connections through her teaching, fostering an environment where dancers feel supported, encouraged, and challenged. Makenna is committed to helping dancers grow not only technically, but personally, instilling confidence, discipline, and a love for the art that extends far beyond the studio.
